How It Works
The moment a rider submits a support ticket, the AI jumps in immediately:
- The chat interface opens automatically and the ticket is assigned to the AI
- The AI greets the rider by name and begins searching the Knowledge Base for a resolution
- A typing indicator keeps the rider informed while the AI works
Smart Resolution Flows
The AI handles four core scenarios intelligently:
Scenario A: Issue Resolved The AI finds a relevant Joyride Knowledge Base article, walks the rider through steps and asks for confirmation. If the rider confirms resolution, the ticket is closed automatically.
Scenario B: Needs Clarification If the issue is unclear, the AI asks follow-up questions and retries Knowledge Base matching. It gets up to three attempts before escalating.
Scenario C: Live Agent Handoff After three attempts without resolution, the AI automatically escalates to a human operator. Riders can also trigger this at any time by typing “agent,” “human,” or “operator.” The operator is notified in real time with a browser alert.
Scenario D: Ticket Closure and Reopen Closed tickets can be reopened by the rider at any time. Operators are notified immediately and the ticket re-enters the active queue.
The AI only handles rider-created tickets, so internal operator workflows are never disrupted. All AI activity is visible in the dashboard, and transferred tickets appear in both the Operator Dashboard and Operator App. The AI also auto-detects the rider’s app language and responds accordingly with no manual configuration needed.
