Fleet management software is a broad category. Most of what you’ll find when you search for it is designed for commercial trucking companies. Think GPS tracking for 18-wheelers, driver hours compliance and fuel logs. You might think of a logistics company, not necessarily a golf course.

Without usage data, maintenance scheduling is based on calendar time (i.e. “service every cart once a month”) rather than actual wear. A cart that’s been out six times today needs attention sooner than one that sat in the barn all week.
Usage-based maintenance alerts, which are triggered when a cart hits a mileage or usage threshold, or when the battery drops below a target level, help shift maintenance from reactive to planned. That extends cart life and reduces the chance of a breakdown mid-round.
What the golfer experience looks like with automated rental software

Hardware installation
