Maximize Revenue: Charge premium rates when demand is highest. During these busy periods (such as 7-10 AM and 5-7PM) riders tend to be less price-sensitive as they travel between home, work, school and entertainment
Incentivize Off-Peak Trips: When discounted pricing is active, riders will be notified via an in-app pop up. When a rider clicks on a vehicle icon, a small green banner will appear above the pricing details with the text “prices are lower at this time!”
Clear and Fair Pricing – Riders will always see the price they’ll pay before starting a trip. If a trip begins while dynamic pricing is active and ends when it is not, dynamic pricing will still apply for the entire trip.
